I shave with a double edge blade safety razor and having a good lather is essential for a good shave. This lathers very well. - "This product does just what is claimed for it! Lovely dense lather, and the tin of shave soap lasts for months. The last tin I used lasted from August 2010 until March 2011. The ingredients allow the shaver to slide smothly over the skin in all directions whilst shaving.
Hint: shake nearly all the water off your brush before lathering up for a really long lasting lather."
